DAY ONE
New Year, New Me

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Today, since i went to bed late the night before, i rolled out of bed around 10am. Once i was dressed, and i brushed my teeth, i stretched, filled my water bottle, and jumped onto the Treadmill for 20 minutes. While exercising, i walked 1.16 miles, and burned around 140 calories.
I took my medications and vitamin around 1pm.
My beginning weight is 214.4 pounds.
Once my day was in swing, i consumed the following foods:
- Life cereal with Skim milk
- An apple
- A salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, crutons, romaine, and balsamic vinegarete
- A bag of baked lays chips
- A 5 in. Wawa italian hoagie with tomato, lettuce, and light oil
- Cucumber
- Skim milk
- Pork
- Applesauce
- Mashed Potatoes
- Green Beans
- Whole Wheat roll
- A slice of s'mores cake
- A Wawa medium Icee
- A soft pretzel
After estimating and adding all the calories that i think i consumed today, i came up with the following number:
2,265 calories
This blog is the first of many, featuring daily reflections on what i've eaten and what i've done. My goal is to get down to 150 pounds in the next two years. This means that i have to lose 64 pounds, or 32 pounds a year. Fingers crossed.
My Goals of 2014 are as following:
- Eat more fruits and vegetables
- Drink more water
- Go to the gym at least three times a week.
- Stay on the dean's list
- Be more confident
- Stay organized
- Go out every once in a while
- Talk to new people
- Don't stress
- Don't gossip
- Sleep
